Behind De Nisse is a team that believes in unhurried evenings. Evenings that unfold slowly… No menu designed to rush you through the night, but a pot that keeps inviting you to stay a little longer. Meat, fish, or cheese to share, savour, and enjoy again. And when the evening reaches its sweetest moment, a dessert awaits those who would like to linger a little longer. As a small, family-run establishment, we welcome every guest with the same care and attention. Whether you are joining us for a romantic dinner for two or for a long evening around a full table, at De Nisse, time is free to slow down and be forgotten for a while.

Celebrate together at De Nisse
Got something to celebrate, or looking for a cosy spot for a group outing? At De Nisse, groups of any size are very welcome. Family celebrations, birthdays, communions, company parties, team-building, clubs or a night out with friends: we'll give you a warm welcome and an enjoyable culinary experience.
Our restaurant seats up to 40 people. We also have a separate room for a pre-dinner drink, welcoming guests, or giving a speech.
We love to tailor things to your wishes and budget, so you and your guests can simply relax and enjoy — from a cosy fondue evening to a dinner with classic dishes or seasonal specials.

Where is De Nisse in Bruges?
De Nisse is at Hooistraat 12, 8000 Bruges, in the heart of the city. There is an underground car park 2 minutes away on foot.
Which fondues does De Nisse serve?
Mixed meat fondue, beef fondue, fish fondue, cheese fondue and meatball fondue, from 2 persons. Fondues come with our all-you-can-eat salad bar (cold vegetables and sauces) and fries served at the table.
Do I need to book?
We strongly recommend it: our alcoves are small and much sought-after, especially at weekends. Book online, email info@denisse.eu or call +32 50 34 86 51.
What are the opening hours?
Monday and Thursday 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Friday and Saturday 5:30 pm to 10 pm, Sunday 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm (Sunday lunch 12 pm to 2 pm for groups of 10 or more). Closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The kitchen closes half an hour before closing time.
Can I come with a group?
Of course. Our restaurant seats up to 40 guests, with a separate room for drinks or a speech. We are happy to make a tailor-made proposal for family celebrations, company parties, clubs or hen and stag nights.
Are there vegetarian dishes?
Yes. Our suggestion menu includes a vegetarian main course (spinach ravioli) and the fondue salad bar is all-you-can-eat. Just mention it when you book.
